I will try & write you a fieu lines to let you know how we are. I havent sit up any yet. I have been so weak all the
time but I am going to try it before many days.

Bert and Helen's third child, Frederick Dewitt STAGE, was born Feb 7, 1895. She is staying with family as she recovers.
has a spell every evening then sleeps the rest of the night & he worries most of the fornoon.

Edith (REYNOLDS) CAREY (later BOWKER), b. Jan 1878, is the daughter Sarah Katherine "Kate" (WOOD).
Edith is Helen's niece. John CAREY is Edith's first husband. They were married in September, 1894.
